Assessment

At the initial appointment the patient's history of injury and other associated factors are recorded. This is followed by a physical examination.

Rehabilitation

Exercise is a fundamental part of physiotherapy. Rehabilitation programmes are personally overseen by the physiotherapist. Advice on technique and efficacy are paramount to effective treatment.

Hydrotherapy (Pool Exercises)

The pool offers the facility for active exercise utilising the buoyancy factor when full weight-bearing is not possible. It is possible through power swimming to improve cardio-vascular fitness when using the jet facility.
